What we collect
When you contact us or become a client we collect what you give us: name, phone number, email, address of the project, photos and descriptions of your space, and information needed to design, install and support your systems. Our website collects standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, prepare proposals and estimates, schedule and perform work, and support your systems afterwards.
- To send invoices and receipts and keep accounting records as required by law.
- To send you service updates about your project.
Text messaging (SMS)
By submitting a form with the SMS consent box checked, or by texting us first, you agree to receive text messages from KConnect Tech LLC related to your inquiry and projects: appointment confirmations and reminders, proposal and invoice links, questions about your job and support follow‑ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors, support and service providers, and all others, is only for the purpose of supporting the services you requested. Text‑messaging originator opt‑in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (messaging, email, payments, accounting, cloud hosting), with subcontractors working on your project, and when required by law. We never sell your data.
Security & retention
Project records, photos and documents are stored encrypted in the cloud (United States) with daily backups. Client access credentials we hold for support (for example device passwords) are stored encrypted and only visible to authorized staff. We keep records for as long as needed to support your systems and meet legal and accounting requirements.
KConnect OS and Google user data
KConnect OS (app.kconnect.tech) is our internal business application, used only by KConnect Tech LLC staff. With the account owner’s explicit consent it connects to our own company Gmail mailboxes through the Google Gmail API to read message headers and snippets, sort incoming mail (leads, invoices, newsletters, spam) and, only when a staff member confirms, move messages to Trash or back to the Inbox. Access tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. KConnect OS’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is never sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties except as needed to operate the application (cloud hosting) or as required by law.
